Slovakian developer J&T Real Estate has partnered with Sons & Co for their first venture into the UK, an acquisition with a gross development value of £400m
Set in London’s Bankside on 185 Park Street, the site originally served as the National Grid’s main power grid. Today it boasts planning permission for an unprecedented mixed-use development, comprised of 163 apartments, 920 sq m of retail space, 1,550 sq m of cultural premises and an impressive 8,100 sq m of office space.
This central London conversion represents a major milestone for both parties, marking JTRE’s first foray into the UK’s property market with an ambitious project that presents challenge and opportunity in equal measure.
