Our five hottest highlights of 2018

It’s been a busy year for us here at TwoBlue. Our clients have been embarking on a range of exciting projects and we have been continually supporting them to ensure they achieve their communications goals. It was tough to choose but we’ve picked out 5 highlights from 2018 to share with you.

1. Fizzy Living launch their seventh site in Hayes

Fizzy Hayes Material Store

In May 2018, Fizzy Living launched their brand-new development in Hayes. This marked Fizzy’s seventh serviced rental block in London and the team celebrated with a garden party, complete with their trademark free-flowing prosecco. Fizzy Hayes is part of the Old Vinyl Factory redevelopment area, which produced vinyl records for decades in Hayes. Once where records were produced for the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, it is now home to Fizzy and we are so thrilled to be part of the regeneration of this iconic site.

2. Real Estate Balance launches new digital Toolkit and appoints first managing director

Real Estate Balance Toolkit

In their maiden year, our pro-bono client Real Estate Balance (REB), who aim to ensure greater gender diversity in leadership positions within the property and real estate industry, launched their new digital toolkit. In November, REB also appointed Kaela Fenn-Smith, former head of commercial at Landsec, as their first managing director. We have supported REB to communicate the message of their organisation throughout the year, managing press and media around their latest developments and running a multi-channel social media package for them. We’re delighted to continue working with REB and we are excited to see what 2019 has in store for this important and worthwhile cause.

3. Sons & Co launch their newest development, Pinks Mews, in Holborn

Pink Mews courtyardOur long-standing client Sons & Co launched their stunning restoration development Pinks Mews in October 2018. Described by the Evening Standard as what could be the set of a Dickensian drama, we ran an integrated campaign incorporating media management, social media and a launch event.  Along with the Evening Standard, we secured excellent coverage for Sons & Co in the Times, the Metro and City AM

4. Sons & Co announce JV acquisition of £400m scheme on London’s Bankside

In July 2018, we handled press around Sons & Co purchasing 185 Park Street from its previous landowner. The site has planning consent to become a major mixed-use scheme on London’s Bankside featuring over 160 apartments, retail and office space. We have also been busy delivering a community engagement project for Park Street, communicating with residents and businesses on the build programme and latest news from the site. 185 Park Street is due to be completed in 2021 and we will be supporting Sons & Co to launch the site both domestically and overseas next year.

5. Hutchison Property Group launches Tower West at the Lotts Road Power Station development

In June 2018, our client Hutchison Property Group launched the Tower West at their flagship development, Chelsea Waterfront. The new tower is part of Hutchinson’s redevelopment of the Lotts Road Power Station and its opening marked a major milestone in the progress of this historic site, drawing attention from celebrities and international jet setters alike!

As you can see, we’ve certainly been kept busy!  Here’s to more of the same in 2019.
