Our client Sons & Co recently took part in a TfL Construction Cycle Experience as part of the wider community engagement around their development at Triptych Bankside
Sons & Co. is a London based property developer who specialise in the acquisition, development, design and construction of luxury residential schemes in some of central London’s most sought after locations. Their latest development, Triptych Bankside is a new mixed use development that, upon completion, will comprise two residential towers, a low rise office building, retail and commercial facilities. The development is neiboured by several world-renowned landmarks and attractions in Bankside, including the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe.
Last week, Sons & Co staff and senior management involved in Triptych Bankside took part in a TfL Construction Cycle Experience, headed up by Michael Barratt OBE. These experiences form part of TfL’s Healthy Streets Approach, which aims to ‘make communities in London healthier, greener and more attractive places to live work and play.’ Conctructors Cycle Experiences take a top down approach, inviting more senior members of staff to get a first hand look at the benefits of protected cycling and the importance of inclusive construction measures.
The experience formed a key part of Sons & Co’s wider commitments as members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, to care about their appearance within the industry and among their neighbours, to respect the local community, protect the environment, and secure the health, safety and wellbeing of their workforce and nearby residents.
